Michael,

try loading the tour into the running applet using the
newpano() functions, and not by loading new HTML-pages. 
Otherwise, Netscape keeps all visited panoramas in RAM, and 
inevitably runs out of memory.
IE doesn't cache HTML-pages in RAM.
