All PTViewer features work on all platforms. However, in Internet Explorer on the Macintosh and in Netscape 6 on any platform, it is not possible to interact between JavaScript and Java Applets.

In short, this means that newPanoFromList() only works on these platforms if it is called from inside the <APPLET> tag, and not from a JavaScript function.

Further, if you script PTViewer from JavaScript, you should reference the PTViewer applet as document.ptviewer, instead of just ptviewer (e.g. use document.ptviewer.newPanoFromList(1)). But even then, this does not work on the above mentioned platforms.
