The panorama I get is distorted in a butterfly shape
You specified a rectilinear image output with a MUCH too wide hfov (near 180°). Choose a cylindrical or equirectangular panorama type, and you will have a nice panorama.
Very roughly speaking "butterfly" distortion in rectilinear projection is proportional to tangent of half hfov angle - actually infinite for hfov=180°.
